Monitor your clients cards

Reviewing previously assigned homework in the following session has been demonstrated to most strongly predict compliance (Bryant, Simons & Thase, 1999). You can easily know what’s going on beyond the session by looking at the family card. It shows an engagement meter: Green for high, Orange for medium and Red for low engagement. It also shows specific alerts such as a certain family has yet to grant HIPAA required consent to let you access their data, or that it’s birthday week 🙂

You can even take a look on your phone using your mobile browser (not the family app…). Please note that phone view only lets you view cards (e.g. if you have a couple of minutes in-between sessions) but it won’t let you go into each card to edit the program. For that you need a screen the size of iPad or bigger.

Review family’s reports together

Our data shows that families are twice(!) more likely to follow through with their carryover program if their therapist is engaged as well. The best way to do that is to review their feedback and reports together at the beginning of sessions. You can hide other families’ cards when you meet with a caregiver.

You can read the family’s comments by standing with your mouse cursor over a smiley feedback that has a little black triangle indicating a comment was entered.
